Maximiser le potentiel

Le programme Les NPU Rebels prépare les jeunes hockeyeurs à atteindre les programmes élites collégiaux et universitaires canadiens et américains dans un encadrement scolaire. ​​ Le programme de hockey des Rebels est axé sur le développement et les objectifs atteints par l’étudiant / athlète . ​ L'encadrement est guidé par les valeurs d'éthique sportive, le respect, la rigueur, la fierté et l’autonomie tout en favorisant la réussite scolaire. ​

Tous les membres de l’académie sont partie prenante de l’école de hockey les Rebels.

Nous faisons appel à des intervenants qualifiés et reconnus dans leur milieu pour encadrer le développement des joueurs

Benoit Brunet

Parrain des Rebels

Benoit Brunet est le Parrain d'honneur et conseiller hockey depuis l’an 1 des Rebels.. Benoit s’implique dans l’organisation, rencontre les joueurs et parents, prodigue des conseils et participe à la Classique de golf des Rebels.

Choix de 27e rang au deuxième tour du repêchage de 1986 par les Canadiens de Montréal.

Il a joué dans la LNH pendant 14 saisons.
Vainqueur d’une coupe Stanley en 1993 avec les Canadiens de Montréal.

Il a évolué aussi avec Dallas et Ottawa

Travaille aujourd’hui comme analyste sur les ondes de RDS

Chris Anderson

Instructeur

Chris Anderson has been involved in hockey development as well as coaching since the 90s.

He played a large role in the success of evolution ice, which was a developing rink that boasted as one of the best training facilities in Canada, He has also coached at all levels in hockey Que- bec as well in AAA and CCHL.

His academic background ranges from attending Dawson, Vanier, Concordia as well as Univer- sity of Toronto, he had a successful career as a heart lung perfusionist, while training athletes.

He brings a lot of knowledge as well as intensity every time he hits the ice.welcome to the re- bels nation, Chris Anderson.

Ryan Handfield

Hockey Trainer

Ryan has been working in the hockey world for well over a decade, coaching almost twenty teams across a variety of calibers and age groups. He most recently served as head coach of the EHL M18AA North Stars and the Kuper Academy M15 D1B team. In the past, he has also coached at the Peewee AAA, Bantam AAA, Midget AAA and school Bantam levels. He's known as a passionate coach, a strong communicator and someone who tries to get the most he can out of every player on the team.

Ryan also dedicates a lot of time to the skills development part of the sport, as he has been operating his own training company; Velocity Hockey Development - since 2014. He trains players of all ages and skills levels with a variety of sessions offered, including Complete Skills and Defenceman courses. Beyond running fast-paced, informative skills sessions, he also organizes leagues for high-caliber players throughout the spring and summer,
He also trains College, Junior and Prep School aged players, and he also regularly works with some of the best younger talent in the area.

Brianne Billig

B.Sc., CAT(C), ATC Athletic Therapist Brianne has a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training with a Minor in Health, from Norwich University's class of 2020 in Vermont, United States, where she is recognized as a Certified Athletic Trainer. She has had a previous internship with the Montreal Alouettes (CFL) Training Camp in 2021 and has varied experience having been a Gym Instructor, a Physio Assistant, and working with NCAA D3 (and youth) Football, Soccer, Lacrosse, Basketball, D1 Rugby, etc. Her hockey background includes work with Prep School Hockey (CSSHL & NAPrepHL), College NCAA D3 hockey (Championship Team), and previously as the Head Athletic Therapist with a Jr. AAA team. Her personable approach is manual therapy and exercise-based, aiming for the optimal multi-disciplinary collaboration and to provide the best treatment plans possible. She also enjoys the fast-paced lifestyle of emergency care with working sporting events. She is currently the Assistant Atheltic Therapist with a Midget AAA team, Head Athletic Therapist for a Youth Football Team, and continues her affiliation with the NPU Rebels, while providing treatments and care via the Axxeleration Physio+ Rehabilitation Clinic in Vaudreuil, known for it’s Performance Center and Hockey Development Programs

Matthew Abbott

Matthew Abbott has a passion for fitness, sports, and a healthy well balanced lifestyle. Graduating from the Kinesiology program at New England College, where he also played NCAA hockey, Matthew has turned his passions into a career working as a personal trainer, strength coach and specialist in hockey training. Matthew aims to help you reach your fitness goals. Using the basis of kinesiology, Matthew builds programs to help each individual or team reach their potential by working with principles of human movement. Additionally, strong community building is an important basis for the programs he develops. A fundamental value he learned in his years of hockey training. Matthew opened Endurance in 2018.
