I just wanted to take a moment to write you about the behaviour of your group at our hotel Nov 11-13th, 2021.
On behalf of myself and our entire staff I would like to say "Thank You".
I have been with the hotel for 19 years and your team was one of the most well behaved and respectful groups we have had stay with us. My entire staff was commenting to me about how impressed they were with the kids on your team.
They were polite, respectful and mindful of others. We never needed to talk to them about noise, they were well organized and went straight to their rooms at night and didn't cause any issues. After teams meals in the dining area, the kids cleaned up after themselves. I wish we had gotten the young man's name, but one of the kids after they all cleaned up after a meal, even offered to carry out the large box/bags of garbage to the bin outside so that they housekeepers didn't have to carry the heavy garbage. This kind of consideration for our staff is something we rarely see among anyone, let alone sports team members. It is truly impressive and appreciated.
Also, the condition of their rooms after checkout were also impressive.
The housekeepers and front desk staff all were saying how polite and well-mannered your entire group was.
I will tell you that in the hotel industry, although every hotel appreciates the business, secretly staff members in all hotels sometimes cringe when they see that a sports team is arriving because they are usually associated with being the cause of many noise complaints from other guests and for creating a mess and leaving their rooms in a disaster state, and sometimes even rude interactions with the staff.
Your group was the complete opposite and several staff members said "I hope they come back -- I wish every team was so respectful and well behaved as that team".
Thank you to yourself and your other coaches or supervisors for having such a well structured and professional team and thank you especially to the kids themselves for being so considerate and respectful towards others. The parents of these kids can be very proud of the way their kids conducted themselves on this trip.
